Xiaomi Mi Band 7: Design and price revealed just before launch

Xiaomi has officially presented its next fitness tracker. Although the features and specifications are yet to be fully revealed, the teaser gives a glimpse of the design of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7. On the same day, a leaked photo also hints at the price of Xiaomi’s next connected bracelet. Unfortunately, no details have yet been revealed on the GPS version.

  • The Mi Band 7 will be unveiled on May 24 with the Redmi Note 11T
  • The NFC variant of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 might be priced at 50 euros in China.

The seventh generation of Xiaomi Mi Band will be launched on May 24 in China with the Redmi Note 11T, according to the official poster. Typically, Xiaomi releases the tracker to the global market soon following – similar to how Huawei did with its own Huawei Band 7 earlier this month.

What can we expect from the Xiaomi Mi Band 7?

As for specs, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is supposed to come with a larger OLED display. However, it is quite difficult to notice the difference using only the provided teaser image.

Another expected change concerns battery capacity. The Mi Band 7 would have a 250 mAh battery, which is double the 125 mAh of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6. Besides, Xiaomi might also come up with a new power saving mode and new watch faces that will support the always-on display feature.

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 price and availability

In terms of price, the NFC variant was spotted for 269 yuan – the equivalent of 40 euros excluding tax.

We will also probably know next week when the official global release of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will take place outside of China. Of course, we’re also looking forward to seeing a GPS model of Xiaomi’s next smartband.

Could the alleged built-in GPS function convince you to buy a Xiaomi Mi Band 7?
