Xiaomi announced an upcoming event a few days later to unveil a new phone called Civi 2, but the surprise was when a picture appeared showing the interface of the new phone with a design that raises doubts regarding Xiaomi’s intention to imitate Apple.
according to the pictureThe new Xiaomi phone will come with a dual front camera, two 32-megapixel cameras each, and they come inside a double hole, but it is in the middle of the screen, just like my iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max phones.
This copied design from Apple made smartphone enthusiasts wonder regarding the possibility of introducing the “Dynamic Island” features on the new Xiaomi phone that we will see in two days?
Xiaomi wants Apple’s “Dynamic Island” features
Xiaomi already has an intention to imitate the dynamic island feature from the iPhone 14 Pro, and leaks had talked regarding the possibility of seeing this feature in the Redmi K60 phone.
But following seeing the camera design on the Xiaomi Civi 2, we’ll probably see the interactive dynamic island on Xiaomi phones sooner than we think.

The new phone is not the first Android phone to come with a dual front camera hole in the form of a pill, we have seen this design before on the Realme X50 Pro phone, but that double hole was on the side of the screen and not in the middle.
For the rest of the Civi 2 specs, it will use the Sony IMX766 sensor that we’ve already seen on the Xiaomi 12, but the aperture will be f/1.8 instead of f/1.9.
One of the images shared by the company revealed that the Civi 2 will come with Dolby Atmos support, and the dual front camera will be linked to small flash units at the top edge to help users take brighter photos in low light.
Finally, the new Xiaomi Civi 2 will be unveiled on September 27, and the phone will be available in China only.
