The Redmi Note 12 was announced by Xiaomi Brazil. The smartphone will be on sale in physical stores in the main capitals of Brazil according to the publication of the company’s official profile on the social network Facebook.
When observing the image of the revelation regarding the launch of the Redmi Note 12 in the country, it is known that the cell phone will be launched in 26 days in São Paulo, starting on April 10, 2023. In Curitiba, it will take 33 days while in Belo Horizonte there will be 40 days left for the premiere. Finally, there is information that the phone will arrive in Recife in 47 days.
Globally, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 series was launched on January 11, 2023, but will only arrive in Brazil in May. The global announcement was made on October 27, 2022. It is important to mention that this is a different smartphone from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi Note 12 5G, which were launched in the Chinese market.
How did the Xiaomi Redmi 12 specs come regarding?
The Redmi Note 12 arrives with Android 12 (MIUI 14) and has a micro SDXC card slot. Although the internal storage and RAM configurations that the cell phone will gain here in Brazil are not yet known, abroad we have the following variants: 128GB/4GB RAM, 128GB/6GB RAM, 256GB/8GB RAM.
With a 6.67″ AMOLED screen, 120 Hz refresh, resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and brightness of 1200 nits (peak), the Redmi Note 12 has a screen with excellent quality for the price. In addition, the cell phone weighs 188g and is IP53 certified, which attests to its resistance to dust and splashes.
The charging capacity of the Redmi Note 12 is average, with 33W using a wall charger and USB-C connection to recharge a 5000mAh battery. In addition, luckily we have an analog headphone output (3.5mm or P2) here, allowing the connection of wired headphones.
The Redmi Note 12 camera system features a 48MP main sensor with a wide f/1.8 lens. There’s also an ultrawide lens with an 8MP sensor and f/2.2 and lastly, we have a macro lens with a 2MP sensor and f/2.4. On the front, there is a selfie lens with a 13MP sensor.
