The Xiaomi 14 Ultra might be launched in the first quarter of 2024 and photos leaked this weekend show that the smartphone is already being tested in China.
The images are courtesy of leaker Jim Zhang, and the “catching” was taken in a park in the city of Beijing. As expected, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is inside a protective case designed to mask its design and indicate that it is a prototype.
Still, it is possible to see that the device probably will have a large rear camera modulefollowing the visual language of its predecessor.
See below that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has four rear cameras:
As the woman in the photos is also holding a Xiaomi 14 Pro, she is most likely comparing the photographic capabilities between the devices. Furthermore, the camera app interface is basically the same as what we have on the Xiaomi 14 line.
In the field of specifications, rumors say that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra should be made official with a titanium construction by default, an AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a rate of 120 Hz, in addition to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The rear set of cameras will consist of a 50 MP main sensor (Sony LYT900, OIS) with variable aperture, while we will also have a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, a 50 MP telephoto and a 50 MP periscope.
Finally, we should expect a battery of up to 5,500 mAh, 120W wired charging, IP68 certification and Android 14 with HyperOS as the operating system. For now, we still don’t have an exact date for the flagship’s presentation, but it will certainly be sold on the global market.
