During the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple emphasized changes that allowed it to reduce the thickness of the screen contour of its cell phones, however, if the images above are portraying the Xiaomi 14, it is possible to deduce that the Chinese model will have much thinner edges than its rivalas well as a discreet hole to house the front camera.
Another detail that can be seen in the images is the flat frame with a metallic finish and the volume and power buttons positioned on the right side.
The images do not reveal what the design of the back of the cell phone would be like, but previous leaks suggest that this model will have a similar look to its predecessor with small adjustments to the camera block, possibly featuring larger lenses positioned in a quadratic block with rounded edges.
It is speculated that the Xiaomi 14 will be equipped with a 6.44-inch screen with OLED technology, 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. A highlight of this screen is the peak brightness of 2,800 nits. Under the hood, the phone will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, expected to be announced next week.
In the photography department, the model should boast a triple set of cameras with 50 MP sensors for the main, wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Other specifications should include a 4,600 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging, IP68 certification, Bluetooth 5.4 and the new HyperOS interface.
