The Xiaomi 13 Pro focuses on delivering a very complete and most powerful set of the brand so far. On the other hand, the OnePlus 11 seeks to bring back the company’s “flagship killer” reputation.

design and connectivity
Xiaomi 13 Pro
These manufacturers weren’t afraid to be bold in the design of their cell phones. Xiaomi bet on a giant square block of cameras to highlight its one-inch sensor, while OnePlus used an equally huge but circular module, connected to the edge by a chrome piece.
Both are made of reinforced metal. The difference is that the 13 Pro preferred to put a ceramic back, and the 11 opted for a Gorilla Glass 5 glass on the lid, to ward off damage from scratches. They also have protection once morest dust and water, but Xiaomi’s IP68 certification guarantees a higher resistance to liquids than the IP64 found in the competitor.
OnePlus 11
Although OnePlus has a lighter body and less width, the rival responds with a smaller height and thinner thickness. Both have a biometric reader under the screen and a hole-shaped notch. Only one placed the centralized notch, and the other inserted it in the left corner.
None of them have a microSD card slot to expand storage. At least the connectivity contains seventh generation Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC, for contactless payments.
The 13 Pro’s greater endurance gives it the first point.

Both one and the other provide an AMOLED screen of the LTPO type, with 6.7 inches and practically the same frontal use. They are still similar in high color reproduction and Quad HD+ resolution.
Regardless of your choice, you’ll find support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technologies, for a complete experience with streaming services. Not to mention the 120 Hz refresh rate, which allows for high fluidity in them. Scratch protection is also present in the duo, by Gorilla Glass Victus.
After all, is there any difference between the panels? Yes, and that’s down to the brightness level. The 13 Pro reaches up to 1,900 nits at its peak, well above the OnePlus 11’s 1,300 nits cap.
Hence, Xiaomi takes note of the point here.

Either way, you won’t be disappointed with the sound. We have a stereo system in them, focused on delivering a great immersive experience to users, whether with movies or music. Apart from the support for Dolby Atmos, to equalize the audio according to your taste.
The duo delivers powerful, undistorted sound at maximum, even with the top speaker lower than the main one. In addition, the two generate a satisfactory balance between bass, mids and treble.
These brands no longer send a headset in the package, nor do they insert a physical connector to plug in an accessory with a P2 cable.
Without a big advantage for one side, we make a draw here.

System
These devices come out of the box equipped with Android 13 natively. Xiaomi promises three updates of the “little robot”, but OnePlus announced that it will match Samsung with four updates in total. This helps to have a longer useful life than the rival of the same country.
Fast mobile network won’t be a problem in these devices as they support 5G technology. The presence of a high refresh rate on them also contributes to good fluidity in navigation and general transitions.
Another strength of these interfaces is their ability to customize. MIUI still stands out for its floating menu with shortcuts and the Control Center. For its part, OxygenOS offers a side menu in Samsung’s Edge Screen style, in addition to configuring the response of the haptic vibration system.
With good features on either side, OnePlus’ greater longevity weighs more. Therefore, the 11 notes the point.

Performance
Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, Qualcomm’s current top-of-the-line model. Which can better exploit the chip to have the best performance? We saw an advantage of around four seconds for Xiaomi in our tests. It seems that OnePlus’ era of ultra-fast performances has yet to return.
The 13 Pro was also the smartphone that seems to have taken more advantage of the hardware in the benchmarks. It beat the competitor on AnTuTu and Geekbench indicators. As we can expect from devices of this size, all games run at maximum quality and extras are enabled on both.
Xiaomi scores the point this time.

Battery
The 13 Pro has a 4,820 mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 5,000 mAh battery of the 11. In our standardized tests, this extra capacity seems to have made the difference, since the almost 29 hours of battery life from OnePlus was above the little more than 26 hours made by Xiaomi.
And don’t think that the scenery changes a lot on loading. The 13 Pro’s 120 W adapter takes just two minutes less than the OnePlus 11’s 100 W one. That is, we can consider it a technical draw. Either way, both take less than half an hour to reach 100%.
Thus, OnePlus scores this time.

We see in these smartphones a triple set of rear cameras, with a main 50 MP on each side. Despite the same resolution, the results are quite different. Hasselblad’s optimizations on OnePlus hit HDR and don’t make post-processing as aggressive as the 13 Pro and its Leica brand.
At night, the 11 repeats its superiority over the Xiaomi, with sharper photos that have less noise. Portrait mode is another highlight for the OnePlus model, with more vibrant colors than the competitor.
Their ultrawide gets the images right during the day, but this sensor fails on the 13 Pro in dark places. At the very least, both provide autofocus for use in macros. Their telephoto lens completes the set, with an advantage for Xiaomi, for its 3.2 times optical zoom, while the rival does not go beyond 2 times.
For the best results, the point goes to OnePlus.

Their camcorder is compatible with 8K videos at 24 fps, but if you want more fluidity, you can opt for 4K resolution at 60 fps. The quality of the duo pleases during the day, but OnePlus suffers less from noise at night. Both still provide efficient optical stabilization, agile focus and good sound capture.
One more point for the OnePlus 11.

Even with twice the resolution of the competitor, the 13 Pro’s front camera takes smoothed selfies during the day. Quite different from the OnePlus 11, which doesn’t kill the small details, thanks to Hasselblad’s optimizations. In night environments, the 11’s photos also don’t have as many grains as Xiaomi’s. Too bad that both do not go beyond Full HD recordings from the front.
OnePlus gets the point once more.

None of the manufacturers officially brought these flagships to Brazil. They were launched in China for the same suggested price starting at 4,000 Yuan, but the OnePlus 11 arrived cheaper in its global version than the Xiaomi 13 Pro. By national retail importers or via direct import, the tendency is to find the 11 also for lower values.
Thus, the OnePlus 11 closes the Comparison with the last point.

In this duel between Chinese tops, the Xiaomi 13 Pro did not. Despite lagging behind in the rankings, it still had the toughest design, brightest screen, and fastest multitasking performance. Apart from the sound system with similar quality to that of the rival.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 11 ended up with the highest number of points, mainly for its set of cameras, superior in photos, videos and selfies. This cell phone still has the superior longevity of the system and takes the best in battery life, without affecting the recharge time. To complete, it is the cheapest option for those who want to buy an imported unit, since neither was officially launched in Brazil.
