The Arlington Renegades have been crowned XFL champions for a few weeks. Beyond the triumph, a number of XFL players have recommended themselves for the NFL. Most recently, Charleston Rambo signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • DiNucci to the Broncos
  • List of XFL players in current NFL rosters

Rambo had already signed with an NFL team in 2022, but failed at the cut with the Carolina Panthers. This year, the former Oklahoma Sooners and Miami Hurricanes collegiate player gets another chance. After attending a Philadelphia Eagles mini-camp, the 23-year-old was added to the 90-man roster. In the spring, Rambo was still playing for the Orlando Guardians and caught 35 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns in ten games.

The biggest XFL name to make the switch from the XFL to the NFL so far this past season has to be Ben DiNucci. The quarterback led the Seattle Sea Dragons to the playoffs and has since had a chance at a roster with the Denver Broncos. His recommendation: Passes for 2,671 yards for 20 touchdowns with 13 interceptions – plus 305 rushing yards and three touchdowns. In 2020, DiNucci represented the Dallas Cowboys for one game for the then injured Dak Prescott.

The XFL players are currently hoping for an NFL career:

  • Arlington Renegades: Willie Taylor III (Linebacker/Jacksonville Jaguars)
  • DC Defenders: Lucky Jackson (Wide Receiver/Minnesota Vikings), Daniel Whelan (Punter/Green Bay Packers)
  • Houston Roughnecks: C. J. Brewer (Defensive Lineman/Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Jack Heflin (Defensive Lineman/New Orleans Saints)
