It’s hard to forget the video published by PlayStation in June 2013 to make fun of the Xbox One and its mandatory Internet connection and its inability to enjoy second-hand games as players would like. Sony had in fact posted a few seconds’ tutorial online in which the manufacturer explained how to share a game on PlayStation 4, that is to say just by physically exchanging the game. This famous video, viewed more than 19 million times, contributed to the change in Xbox policy, to the delight of players.
For its part, Xbox does not hesitate to throw digs at PlayStation when the opportunity presents itself, but it is never as resounding. Xbox UK has just published a fun post on X to highlight Xbox Game Pass.

This is not the first time that Xbox has taken revenge
This is not the first time that Xbox UK has launched a small dig at PlayStation on social networks. In 2020, we learned that players who purchased the original Marvel’s Spider-Man game on PlayStation 4 would not be able to play the enhanced version on PlayStation 5 without going back to the checkout and paying €70 to purchase the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider -Man: Miles Morales, the remaster not being sold separately at the time.
Xbox UK took the opportunity to draw up a post and highlight Smart Delivery, which allows you to switch from an Xbox One version to Xbox Series X|S, and vice versa, at no additional cost. This was obviously a little revenge compared to the video published by PlayStation in 2013.
Here’s a thread on how you can upgrade games to Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery in a few easy steps ????.
