There are details that matter, and this is one of them. Since a recent update available first to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S Xbox Insider members, Microsoft’s latest consoles are, indeed, much faster to boot up.
When it starts faster, we play faster
It’s quite simple, but it is the duration of the startup animation of the new Xboxes that has been reduced when the consoles are in energy saving mode. While it took around 9 seconds to boot up an Xbox Series X|S before the update, it now only takes 4 seconds.
The result is that the console starts much faster than before, without anything missing when you get to the home page. This new feature is currently available to certain members of the program Xbox Insider and should be available to everyone from August.
