Xbox reveals Deadpool-designed Series X and controller

Since time immemorial, Xbox has been used to make exclusive versions of its console related to marketing campaigns related to other brands, video games, series, movies and so on. Now, with the release of the movie Deadpool & Wolverine just around the corner, they have revealed an edition of the Xbox Series X and its controls designed by Deadpool himself.

As you can see in the video, this curious design of the custom Xbox Series X features a stand for the console next to some katanas and a controller with an… interesting Deadpool butt on the back of it that makes it simply hilarious.

Unfortunately for many, this isn’t a new retail design for the console, but rather an exclusive design for a giveaway among fans of the Microsoft console. Only one of these bundles is available for the lucky winner, and everyone has regarding three and a half weeks (until August 11) to enter and get their hands on the Deadpool loot.

In addition to this, Microsoft announced that the first 1,000 people to purchase an “Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core” from the Microsoft Store on July 22 will receive “an exclusive Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Stand,” available only in the United States and Canada.

Xbox took advantage of the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine

The Deadpool & Wolverine movie will be released next Friday, July 26, in all theaters around the world.

According to the film’s synopsis, the plot revolves around “Wolverine, who is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the bigmouth, Deadpool, who has traveled back in time to heal him in hopes of becoming friends and teaming up to take down a common enemy.”
