Like every month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be entitled to their batch of free games. Those registered for the Gold version of the subscription will benefit, during the month of January, from two games without great scope, but whose quality is not the least.
From January 1 to 31, they will be able to download Iris.Fall. This little independent game, released in 2018, follows the adventure of the young Iris who sets off in pursuit of a black cat in the meanders of a labyrinthine world. Between shadow and light, Iris.Fall is a chiaroscuro adventure game full of puzzles. Little by little, more and more deeply, Iris will discover that the world around her presents links with her. Iris.Fall allows you to wander between reflection and contemplation.
The second — available for download from January 16 to February 15 — is Autonaut. Also from the “indie” scene, this game will immerse you in a construction world. Unleash your creations in this simulation game that will give you the opportunity to find new planets and transform them. Establish a solid foundation before giving way to your construction robots. But the artificial intelligence of the latter will have to be worked and refined to access more possibilities.
If independent games with a unique style and universe are always pleasant to discover, this selection of Xbox Live Gold is still lacking in thrills, especially compared to that of Sony. The latter offers subscribers the opportunity to discover for free Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
