Xbox revealed games to be added to the Game Pass during a live streaming session on the first day of Tokyo Game Show 2022. The additional games released this time include titles from Japanese developers in line with Xbox’s plan to reveal more titles from Asian developers, along with titles that game fans might know just by hearing their names.
First of all, today, September 15th, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be added to the Game Pass. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, an open world action game set in ancient Greece, boasts a very beautiful and wonderful map, and you can experience the story of being reborn as a hero from an abandoned mercenary in an immersive experience.
The game, like watching a Ghibli movie, Ni no Kuni: Queen of the White Crusade Remastered is also released today with the Game Pass. The next game, Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, will be released on Xbox in 2023. New Danganronpa V3: Everyone’s Murder New Semester is also available through the Game Pass from today. This is the latest installment in the Danganronpa series of detective action games, in which the player participates in a class trial to uncover the truth of a murder case and defeats the enemy.
The remastered version of the Persona series, which was previously released through streaming, will also be released as a game pass as planned. Starting with Persona 5 The Royal, which will be added to the Game Pass on October 21st, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will be available. Guilty Gear Strive, the latest installment in the Guilty Gear series, will also be added to the Game Pass in the spring of 2023. Guilty Gear Strive, which is well-received as a fighting game, recently introduced Bridget, which drew many fans’ cheers.
The BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition is also available with the Spring 2023 Game Pass. All DLC is included, and you can form a crossover dream team with characters from a total of 8 titles, including BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, and Under Night in Bus.
Finally, Arcane Studios’ Deathloop is released as a Game Pass. Deathloop, a single and multiplayer epic assassination action game, is coming to the Game Pass as the latest version with all the updates it has made since launch. There will also be updates that provide new weapons, abilities, extended endings, and more. Deathloop can be played with a game pass starting September 20.
In addition to the works added to the game pass following being released on other platforms, various games such as Warryong: Fallen Dynasty and Baek Heroes will be added to the game pass as Day 1 at the same time as they are released. Xbox is currently supporting Day1, which adds a variety of games to the Game Pass on day one, including games from Xbox Studios and Bethesda and partner developers.
