Microsoft is restricting the trial period of its Game Pass on Xbox. The Ultimate and PC Game Pass versions are now only accessible for a fortnight. Against a month ago.
Microsoft is tightening the screws around the Game Pass Ultimate trial period on Xbox. Until now, each new subscriber had a one-month period to test the formula. All this for a symbolic €1 and, of course, without obligation. This is now ancient history, since the official site only offers two short weeks to get your hands dirty.
Approaching the release of Starfield, the message seems quite clear to us. Subscribe, or buy the game. Also remember that Microsoft has been looking for what to do with its trial offer for a few months. Last March, the trial period disappeared. Purely and simply. Probably to limit the number of temporary accounts.
Three months later, the trial offer resurfaced. Not without a pricing adjustment, since the standard and Ultimate Game Pass formulas have both been increased. As a reminder, subscribers must pay €10.99 for the basic offer, once morest €9.99 before, and €14.99 for the Ultimate version, instead of €12.99 previously.
Of course, the trial period changes also apply to PC Game Pass. On this subject, it should also be remembered that Microsoft has recently set up a sponsorship program. Any subscriber can thus invite friends to test the PC Game Pass. All this for a period of… 14 days.
