More than 40 partners are present at the Summer Game Fest 2023. A great alternative to E3, which again is not happening.
E3 2023 is dead. Long live Summer Game Fest 2023. Geoff Keighleythe producer of Summer Game Fest, has announced that this year over 40 major video game manufacturers will attend the event. The event will take place on June 8th at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California and will feature a range of content from some of the biggest publishers in the industry.
Who’s in? Partners announced by Keighley include Activision, Amazon Games, Bandai Namco, Capcom, CD Projekt Red, Devolver, Disney, EA, Epic Games, Focus, Gearbox Publishing, Grinding Gear Games, Kabam, Larian, Magic the Gathering, Netflix, Unter other Nexon, Niantic, Paradox, Pearl Abyss, Phoenix Labs, PlayStation, Razer, Sega, Square Enix, Steam, Techland, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Games and Xbox.

Of particular note is the presence of PlayStation and Xbox, as both companies will have their own screenings in June. Xbox will hold its own showcase on June 11, while Sony is rumored to be planning a digital event in June to showcase upcoming PlayStation games.

Despite the own shows, there were always big announcements at the Summer Game Fest. Last year the PS5 remake of The Last of Us was announced. After all, the event is very popular and millions of fans worldwide are watching.
