After a life dedicated to the law, this Tuesday the death of the doctor was announced Xavier Diez de Urdanivia Fernandez for natural causes.
Through their social networks, their colleagues from the legal profession and the law expressed their condolences to the family of the doctorwho in his most recent years of activity was in charge of the Human Rights Commission of the State of Coahuila, where it appeared as ombudsperson.

“I am very sorry for the death of my teacher and friend Don Xavier Diez de Urdanivia Fernández. My solidarity and prayers with his family. Rest in peace”, he stated.
Diez de Urdanivia Fernández, began his career in law graduating from the prestigious Free School of Law at the beginning of the 70s in the Mexico City.
Throughout his career he completed various diplomas and a master’s degree, to finally conclude his studies with a doctorate at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Prior to being the owner of the CDHEC He was the president of the Superior Court of Justice of the State, a position that concluded in 1999, a body in which he also served as Numerary Magistrate since 1996.
In addition to these high-ranking positions in the entity, he also directed the legal affairs office of the Government of Coahuila until 1996, and worked in the ranks of federal services law as the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Pemex, the Mexican Postal Service and INEA.
He also worked in the legal offices of the Secretary of Education, of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, Secretary of Commercebut he also worked in the private sector for companies such as Nestlé.
He was a teacher at the Autonomous University of the Northeast, in educational institutes Sonora y Queretaroas well as in the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Autonomous University of Coahuila. In civil work he belonged to at least 12 organizations of the society.
Among some of the recommendations or works that it carried out was recommendation 40/2019, where it recognized that Saltillo police officers had seriously violated human rights by depriving an elementary school music teacher of life Appendix during an apparent arrest procedure.
