The little carnival-goers, accompanied by their parents, started to gather a little while earlier, while the Municipality of Xanthi had taken care to issue an announcement and inform that the children’s parade would take place as usual. The unsettled weather could not stand in the way of the big children’s party that followed.

Recruiting their imagination and fun, the little carnival-goers spilled out into the street, having fun heading to the central square where a big party with music and dance awaited them according to xanthinea.gr.
The children’s parade was attended by the Queen of the Carnival as well as the King of the Xanthiotis Carnival, who danced and had fun with the whole world. The parade is an institution for the THLE, as it takes place every year, with the little carnival-goers eagerly awaiting it.
