Former President Álvaro Uribe, Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernández criticize each other
Former President Álvaro Uribe addressed Gustavo Petro, on Twitter, asking him not to use lies to defend his views on the future of the indigenous families of Sierra Nevada.
This discussion on social media began with a post by Rodolfo Hernández
“In my government, I will convert a strip of the coast, between Santa Marta and Riohacha, into a free zone, free of taxes, to promote that the hotel chains that have already expressed their interest build a large marina,” Hernández said.
“With all due respect, there is the Tayrona National Park. Out of respect for nature and indigenous peoples, Uribe’s desire to do hotel business and destroy a nature that is unique cannot be acceded to,” Petro replied.
“Dr. Petro, become respectable, don’t be a liar: Sierra Nevada my Govt: Flias Rangers with lodgings; zero illicit crops; 9 indigenous peoples; ecohabs; guerrillas and paramilitaries taken out of there”, concluded Uribe.
