– Tonight is WWE SmackDown, the blue show starts with the Bloodline arriving in the arena. The SmackDown intro begins and then the pyros break out. The commentators welcome us and then Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox enter for their match for the women’s tag team titles.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Tag Team Match
Damage Control (Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky) (c) vs. Liv Morgan and Tegan Knox
At the end of the match, Bayley goes following Tegan Nox in ringside then a mystery woman attacks Nox from the crowd! Iyo Sky took the opportunity to make his Moonsault on Tegan Nox followed by the pinfall for the pinfall victory.
Winners: Damage Control – Still Champions
– A video of the defense of the Intercontinental title of Gunther vis-a-vis Ricochet, which will take place this evening, is diffused.
– Behind the scenes, Sami Zayn and the Usos prepare to welcome Roman Reigns.
– A video of Bray Wyatt with LA Knight who is tied up in a room is played.
– LA Knight is in the ring with a microphone. He tells us that he has been attacked in the last few weeks but he is still there. Wyatt is a former champion, he’s one of the greatest Superstars of all time. But since his return, he dresses like a carnival freak. He knows it’s Bray Wyatt!
The lights go out and Bray Wyatt’s music plays. He arrives on the scene with a microphone and tells us that he is fed up. He knows LA Knight doesn’t believe him, but he didn’t touch him. He’s going to give him one last chance… He gets in the ring but LA Knight attacks him!
A video of Uncle Howdy appears on the giant screen then music plays and Uncle Howdy arrives on the stage. The segment ends with laughter.
– Ricochet and the Imperium enter for the defense of the Intercontinental title. Before the match, Adam Pearce sends Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci backstage.
Intercontinental Championship – Singles Match
Gunther (c) vs Ricochet
At the end of the match, Ricochet slaps Gunther but the latter returns the device to him then makes him his Last Symphony on Ricochet for the victory by pinfall.
Winner: Gunther – Still Champion
– After the match, the Imperium wants to attack Ricochet but Braun Strowman arrives to defend him! The Imperium leaves on the scene.
– Backstage, Roman Reigns is joined by Jey Uso who asks him what he has planned tonight. Roman Reigns asks Paul Heyman to call Adam Pearce.
– Adam Pearce walks into Roman Reigns’ locker room. Paul Heyman offers a match with Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn once morest Kevin Owens and a partner of his choosing. Adam Pearce asks when will this game take place tonight? The Royal Rumble? Paul Heyman replies that it will take place on December 30 on SmackDown, which will be held in Tampa, Florida! Roman Reigns says it’s better than Chicago. Adam Pearce replies that he will tell Kevin Owens.
– A video on Tribute to the Troops is broadcast, the show will be broadcast this Saturday in the United States.
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
The winners will have a match for the tag team titles once morest the Usos.
Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) (accompanied by Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega) vs Hit Row (Ashante Adonis & Top Dolla) (accompanied by B-Fab) vs Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (accompanied by Valhalla)
At the end of the match, Top Dolla carried Joaquin Wilde and Ashante Adonis made him a Dropkick followed by the pinfall for the victory.
Gagnants : Hit Row
– Backstage, Kayla Braxton is with Raquel Rodriguez. She claims the doctor told her to take it easy but it got personal. She will be in next week’s Gauntlet Match.
– Next week on SmackDown: The Usos will defend the tag team titles once morest Hit Row / Gauntlet Match to discover the next contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title between Emma, Raquel Rodriguez, Tegan Nox, Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville and Xia Li / Miracle on 34th Street Fight with Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
– The Bloodline makes its entrance. Once in the ring, Roman Reigns asks Chicago to recognize him. He hadn’t seen the Bloodline since the WarGames and if we don’t know, they dominated at the WarGames! Roman Reigns checks Bloodline members, including Sami Zayn. Reigns goes on to talk regarding tonight: they have a problem, a Kevin Owens problem. This is a problem for Sami Zayn. And if it’s a problem for Sami Zayn, it’s a problem for Reigns and a problem for the Bloodline. But he has a solution: they will team up to face Kevin Owens and anyone he chooses. Sami Zayn says Kevin Owens is a cancer, he’s Owens’ only friend… well HE WAS Owens’ only friend.
John Cena appears on the giant screen! He says he was surprised to receive a message from his friend Kevin Owens. He reads a message on his phone saying that 2022 is the first year he hasn’t had a game. Kevin Owens then asked him to be his partner in 2 weeks. So yes, he will team up with Kevin Owens to take on Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn on December 30 on SmackDown!
