– WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with a video about the end of the Royal Rumble with Sami Zayn’s attack on Roman Reigns.
– Kayla Braxton is in the parking lot then the Bloodline gets out of a car (sans Jey Uso). Reigns is asked about Jey but he doesn’t answer. Paul Heyman says they can’t talk about Jey Uso’s status right now.
– The SmackDown intro goes off and then the pyros break out. The commentators welcome us and Braun Strowman and Ricochet enter the ring for the tournament final.

At the end of the match, Braun Strowman makes a MonsterBomb on Ludwig Kaiser then makes the tag to Ricochet who climbs on his shoulders and launches in Swanton on Kaiser for the victory by pinfall.

– A video of Rhea Ripley’s victory at the Royal Rumble and then her choice for WrestleMania 39 is broadcast.
– Backstage, Charlotte Flair joins Kayla Braxton and tells us that WrestleMania is going to be epic, but tonight she’s focused on her match against Sonya Deville. The latter arrives and says to be there for this belt. She is the one who will face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. Hollywood, it takes a star, it takes Sonya Deville.
– Thursday was NASCAR’s first race of the year and there was an altercation between Dominik Mysterio, Damien Priest and Finn Balor against Rey Mysterio and the New Day. A race was organized between the two Mysterios, won by the father.

At the end of the match, Sonya Deville tries a roll up on Charlotte Flair who counters it and applies her Figure-Eight Leglock on Deville who gives up.
