– WWE Monday Night RAW kicks off with a video of Cody Rhodes returning to the 2023 Royal Rumble with his historic win.
– Cody then arrives in the ring. The crowd sings that it is deserved. Cody asks what we want to talk regarding. Cody says that every week there are new people watching the show. So he’s going to start by saying that he’s not the same person who started here many years ago. He started out in Ohio Valley Wrestling and figured he’d be a WWE Champion in less than two years. He was ambitious and a bit crazy, he thought he was the next John Cena. So if he can step back and talk to his 19-year-old version. Would he tell her it wouldn’t be like this? That he was going to win the Intercontinental title to bring it back to its former glory? Paint your face? Fall and find glory? Advise him to go exploring in 2015 and finally come back in 2023 to get a ticket to WrestleMania, the first in the family to do so? The truth is that he wouldn’t tell her anything. Because every shot in the ring was 100% worth it.
Cody says the Kingdom music will accompany him everywhere. But the beginning says that wrestling has more than one royal family. WWE has more than a royal family. That evening someone else is going to eat at this family table. Reigns may be the biggest Superstar at the end of the night, but he will no longer be the WWE Universal Champion.
Judgment Day arrives on the scene. Finn Balor asks if Rhodes is coming to do something original or if he is coming to copy what he was doing. Dominik Mysterio says that as a bonus Cody ruined the plans for Judgment Day at WrestleMania. Rhea Ripley was able to win, but he had to win the Men’s Rumble Match. Balor says that talking regarding the Rumble we all wonder why Rey Mysterio wasn’t able to make the match. Dominik says Cody ruined his moment. But what would have happened if Cody had made this gesture in prison? Cody would no longer be standing. Damian Priest says Dominik should be the only wrestler from a family to qualify for WrestleMania. Meanwhile Cody gets given the #30 spot like everything else. Dominik says Cody owes him an apology now.
Cody says he doesn’t want to frustrate them, but he has to ask him if Dominik wants to try to scare him. Speaking of royals, he has nothing but respect for Rey. Dominik says it’s funny, he has no respect for his dad and especially Cody’s dad. Cody says with 62 days left, he might play it safe and stay healthy, or he might be him and kick ass Dominik or any of the three here and tonight.
Cody celebrates in the ring with the fans, but Edge arrives and begins pummeling the Judgment Day members. Cody comes to help Edge, the officials arrive to separate everyone.
– Returning from the break, it is announced that Austin Theory will be a guest in the VIP Lounge tonight.

At the end of the match, Rollins blocks Gable’s hold and makes him a Pedigree for the account of three.

At the end of the match, Bayley wants to intervene, but LeRae hits her. Sky takes the opportunity to make him a Roll Up for the account of three.
