2023-09-12 01:19:06

On the program for this September 11 episode of WWE Raw live from Norfolk, Virginia, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE World Championship, Gunther’s celebration of the longest reign as Intercontinental Champion, and the presence of Cody Rhodes.

Jey Uso makes his entrance, and is quickly interrupted by Kevin Owens. Owens comes to talk to him about his current situation, he says he knows her, that he knows what he’s going through. He remembers doing terrible things to some people, and adds that it takes time to regain people’s trust. Some people still don’t trust him.

Kevin Owens says some people like Matt Riddle and Drew McIntyre didn’t want Jey Uso on Raw, and they’re not the only ones. But on the contrary, Cody Rhodes has no problem with his arrival, nor does Sami Zayn since he welcomed him with open arms, but Owens tells Uso that he will have to prove himself to deserve his respect .

Judgment Day enters (without Rhea Ripley). Finn Balor tells Jey Uso that he doesn’t need to prove anything, he and Judgment Day respect him, and that Owens’ word isn’t worth the locker room’s. Damian Priest adds that he is welcome and reminds that Dominik Mysterio refused to join them several times, and now he is the best version of himself. Mysterio tries to speak, but the boos are loud and it’s hard to hear what he has to say.

Damian Priest gets back on the mic to remind us that they were supposed to face Owens and Zayn tonight, but Zayn is absent. Owens explains that he can beat all three of them if he wants, though. Jey Uso offers himself as Owens’ partner, enough to infuriate Dominik Mysterio who takes a superkick from him. Owens accepts Jey Uso’s proposal.

Finn Bálor and Damian Priest defeated Kevin Owens and Jey Uso by pinfall with Balor’s Coup de Grace on Owens. Jey Uso accidentally hit Owens with a superkick intended for Damian Priest.

Jey Uso finds Kevin Owens backstage a little later, apologizes to him and assures him that the superkick was an accident, but Owens doesn’t believe it. He gets angry and tells him to join Judgment Day if he wants to and dye his hair purple while he’s at it.

Imperium arrives in their 31st to celebrate Gunther’s reign, now the longest Intercontinental Champion reign in history.
