Cameron Grimes (c) defeated Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa via pin on Solo Sikoa after the cave in.
Match time: 14:06

NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose talks to her colleagues on the phone while visiting a tanning salon herself. She tells Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to pick her up so they can go to the beach together. She then goes to a solarium, but this is said to be her undoing. Because Wendy Choo sneaks around there unnoticed and seems to be playing with the controls of the solarium. When Mandy Rose climbs out of the sunbed, she’s rather well done than medium, which Dolin and Jayne are shocked to see. Understandably, Rose has lost her desire for the beach and now she just wants to stay indoors. However, Dolin and Jayne decide to visit a tiki bar.

Nathan Frazer stands by McKenzie Mitchell and says a few words to Grayson Waller. Although he is strong when it comes to social media, he doesn’t really care because the 10-year-old boy in him is really happy because he is about to make his NXT debut today. This day is like Christmas and all the birthdays of his life together.

The Creed Brothers are training at their Diamond Mine Dojo, where they are visited by Roderick Strong. He recognizes the Viking Raiders as the brothers’ toughest task and challenges them to show him what they’re made of. Ivy Nile also arrives and Strong makes it clear that he is the leader of the Diamond Mine and that his words are law. Then he also makes it clear that the Creeds should not allow themselves any of the past mistakes today.

Indi Hartwell is backstage with Duke Hudson visiting. There is an awkward silence between the two. Duke seems to be slowly approaching for a kiss, but Indi is not at all interested. Duke seems certain she doesn’t mean it before they go their separate ways.

2. Match
Singles Match
Nathan Frazer defeated Grayson Waller via pin after a Phoenix splash.
Match time: 14:40
– Before the finish, Waller was distracted by Andre Chase with the help of an air horn.

Frazer then celebrates his victory with the fans and students at Chase University.

Fallon Henley is confirmed as a participant in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.

Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Elektra Lopez) await their guests in the “Fresco” restaurant. Tony D’Angelo arrives at the house accompanied by his entourage, Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan, Chase “Stacks” Lorenzo, and AJ Galante. Wilde points out to D’Angelo that he’s going to be late, who prompts “Jacqueline” to point out that the Don wouldn’t wait for people, it would be the other way around. Escobar doesn’t approve of Galante’s presence, but Tony D introduces him as his consigliere, making him part of the crew. D’Angelo clarifies that they are both men of influence and that they may have had an unfortunate start, but today he is willing to forget Escobar’s lack of respect. Escobar explains that he’s a generous man, but that he couldn’t possibly trust D’Angelo right now after all the games he’s played with him, recalling the fish on the windshield and the “Two Dimes” and “Stacks” attack. That’s the only reason they would be sitting here today and talking. D’Angelo states NXT offers enough cake for Tony D and the Legado family and Escobar realizes they are at different points. D’Angelo wants to build his family from the ground up while expanding his own kingdom. Therefore, he offers D’Angelo to join the Legado and follow him. However, he is not interested and feels insulted by the offer, which makes him angry. D’Angelo would not submit to anyone and needs reassurance from Galante. Santos Escobar then offers a truce before D’Angelo apologizes for his outburst. At the same time, Escobar apologizes for not understanding what D’Angelo’s goals are. They both realized that peace between the two factions is for everyone and they would all benefit from it. They get up and toast the agreed ceasefire before Tony D’Angelo and his crew say goodbye and leave the bar. Escobar then tells Cruz Del Toro to start the car, which is the expected sign for him and Wilde…

The Viking Raiders are now at McKenzie Mitchell where they recognize the Creed Brothers as strong contenders. Nevertheless, the two have never had anyone like the two Vikings in the ring and their training is worthless against two men like them. Pretty Deadly interrupt the segment and poke fun at the Vikings a bit, but nonetheless look forward to what’s about to happen to the Creeds. Erik warns the reigning champions not to interrupt them or they will put their target, the Creeds, on the back burner for the time being and make short work of the Brits first. The warning comes through and Pretty Deadly withdraw.

Joe Gacy prepared some words. He understands that change can sometimes be scary, but there is no reason to fear. Because changes are necessary to make the world a better place. Today is just the beginning as he wants to make the world a better place but fear what will happen if he doesn’t win the NXT Championship today.

Tatum Paxley’s participation in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament is confirmed.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are shown arriving at the beach. They wonder if Wendy Choo is responsible for what was previously done to Mandy Rose. It is she who is hidden and accompanied by Roxanne Perez in the background on the beach. Perez questions what she’s doing here because she should be training for the Breakout Tournament, but Choo explains what they’re doing here would be far more valuable than training because it would get rid of Toxic Attraction. Meanwhile, Dolin and Jayne relax on the sand for a bit before heading towards the water to enjoy the beautiful weather. At the same time, Choo and Perez implement their plan and start tampering with the women’s belongings. So they take the shoes and car keys of the Women’s Tag Team Champions and disappear with them. Toxic Attraction return from their bathroom to the towels, where they realize their belongings have been stolen. Choo and Perez show up and wave the key, causing Dolin and Jayne to give chase. Choo and Perez have also parked their car so that they have to run barefoot over the hot asphalt.

4. Match
Tag Team Match
Diamond Mine: The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) defeated The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) via a pin by Julius Creed on Erik after the Unnecessary Clothesline.
Match time: 12:58
– Before the finish, Roderick Strong stormed to the ring and attacked Erik with a knee strike.

Julius and Brutus can’t celebrate their victory in peace afterwards, because they don’t seem to agree with Strong’s attack, but he only says that a victory is a victory. There is some debate between the Creeds and Strong.

AJ Galante is saying goodbye to Tony D’Angelo and his henchmen in the parking lot when Santos Escobar calls him over. He respects Galante for being an important part of Tony D’s squad and what a shame it would be if anything happened to him. Seconds later, D’Angelo knees his counterpart in the crotch before an SUV rushes in, from which Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde get out and grab the defenseless Galante.

Alba Fyre (fka Kay Lee Ray) will return to NXT next week.

Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen are with the doctor to assess Jensen’s injury and tell them how long Jensen would be out after Von Wagner’s attack. Normally, the downtime would be around ten to twelve weeks, but since Jensen’s muscles on his right arm are unusually strong, Jensen was lucky again and only had to wear his bracer for six to eight weeks.

Next week the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament will start! Also, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne get a chance to get revenge on Roxanne Perez & Wendy Choo. Now it’s time for the main event of the night!
