Here’s a throwback to the moment Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. We are also reminded that they forfeited their chance at the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and were instead added to the Women’s Championship match at Stand and Deliver.
In a clip, we see Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley cleaning up the Diamond Mine Dojo following last week’s devastation. Nile also reminds her friend that she has to spank, not kiss, to join Diamond Mine.
As Tiffany Stratton makes her way to the ring, we are shown attacking and taking out Sarray two weeks ago.

Match time: 3:28
– Before the finish, the hall filled with smoke before suddenly Sarray appeared on the apron. She argued with Stratton, which made things easy for Nile.
Tommaso Ciampa is backstage once more and speaks to the camera. He mentions how the fans have been by his side throughout, in good times and bad. Together they would have made NXT what it is. In “Stand and Deliver” they will create something magical one last time. Finally, as usual, he wants to throw the chair he was sitting on across the room, but stops and leans it once morest the wall, which makes it clear that on this “9/9/2015 – 4/2/2022” ( the day of his NXT debut and the date for “Stand and Deliver”) is written.
Below is a video pack showcasing new NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler. He talks regarding his career and his journey to the NXT Championship. This victory should open the second half of his career and he will hold on to this gold on “Stand and Deliver”.

McKenzie Mitchell asks Cameron Grimes how he sees his chances in today’s Last Chance Triple Threat Match. He knows Roderick Strong and A-Kid have great skills, but they wouldn’t need the win as much as he does. This is his last chance to make his dad proud.
Toxic Attraction (NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose & NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) celebrate their way to the ring. Once there, Mandy Rose takes the floor and talks regarding the short-term change in the title match on “Stand and Deliver”. So Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray would have misunderstood her words that she would beat every queen on the roster because she didn’t mean that she wanted to do it at the same time. But she is not afraid and will emerge victorious from the match, following all, Toxic Attraction is the most dominant team in NXT history and they plan to be at the top for a long time. Today, however, they want to devote themselves to Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai, because they failed to eliminate Shirai and Ray. Gigi Dolin opens her bag to reveal various pieces of Choo jewelry. They admit to knocking out Wendy Choo, leaving Dakota Kai without a partner to challenge the reigning Tag Team Champions. You will enter and exit Stand and Deliver with all the gold. Now Dakota Kai sprints to the ring, who is furious that her new friend was attacked and takes on Toxic Attraction alone. As you might expect, this is a bad idea and Kai ends up getting the worst of it, finding herself on the ground. Suddenly the music of Raquel González sounds, who celebrates her premature comeback and goes to the ring. She stands up to Toxic Attraction and together with Kai they can put the champions to flight. Under deafening “Yes” chants, the two look at each other intensely before there is an embrace and the former friends are probably reunited. Suddenly Kai sees something in the corner of the ring that Toxic Attraction forgot. She grabs one of the NXT Women’s Tag Team title belts and, along with González, lifts it in the air, to the dismay of Toxic Attraction.
NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams stand by McKenzie Mitchell. Hayes commands respect for making the qualifiers possible so far and for tonight’s Last Chance Triple Threat Match. Of course he will also accompany this on the commentary desk. Grayson Waller and Sanga enter the picture and Waller mentions that he will be there as well. He also wants to do everything possible to go home as champion on Saturday. They discuss a little more before Waller lets Hayes know that he clearly has the bigger one. He’s referring to his buddy Sanga, who towers over Williams’ trick, but both Williams and Hayes are disgusted by the comment.
The “Japanese commentary team” Jacket Time (Kushida & Ikemen Jiro) join Joseph and Barrett at a neighboring table.

Meanwhile, Santos Escobar has found a microphone and promises to win the North American Championship and bring it to the Familia. Grayson Waller steps in, stating family is irrelevant, only the gold matters to him, and he’ll go viral with the gold. Solo Sikoa also promises to win the title soon, while Grimes wants to take the title “to the moon” with him. With that, he drops his mic and punches Hayes, inviting the other gentlemen into the ring.
