It only remains to wish that the different options offered in this WWE 2K22 opus are able to convince the players.
2K Showcase avec Rey Mysterio
This mode notably allows you to relive the defining moments surrounding Rey Mysterio’s best-known matches during his 20 years in WWE. 2K Showcase allows you to watch interviews between each match. 2K specifies that a new technology called Slingshot makes it possible to offer an optimal transition between the phases of gameplay, the moments when the player fulfills the objectives to be achieved and those when the most emblematic sequences of Rey Mysterio’s career.
My MG
This is a novelty that fans of the WWE license were eager to see happen, which allows you to become General Manager. This function, already present in NBA 2K games, allows you to select one of the five available MGs or to create one. Among the announced possibilities are the creation of a roster of wrestlers, the management of budgets, the choice of the different types of matches, the locations of the combat arenas… The objective is to beat another MG in the weekly scoring battles and then reaching the iconic WrestleMania event.
My FACTION
This is once more new, a single player mode that also allows you to build and improve the performance of a team made up of four Superstars and WWE Legends. The developers announce customization possibilities (logos, wallpapers, nameplates…) and additional rewards thanks to each My Faction sub-mode (such as weekly rounds and faction wars), updated every 1st of the month . Collectors can also regularly find new themed card packs, featuring current Superstars and Legends.
My CLIMB
This mode tracks the journey of a WWE Superstar from his debut at the WWE Performance Center. Several scenarios are proposed, including unique stories for the women’s or men’s divisions, which offer to accompany Superstars and Legends on their journey to consecration.
Universe mode
This mode aims to allow the most complete customization possible of the gaming experience. Mention is made of possibilities such as control of divisions, PPVs, match results, rivalries… Universe mode includes sub -Classic Mode and Superstar Mode, the latter allowing us to follow our Superstar through weekly matches, in particular in the development of rivalries, the creation of a team, a personalized match, or even participation in a championship match .
Creation Mode
This is an existing mode that returns, bringing with it all new cross-platform creations from the WWE community. This section dedicated to creators highlights a player and his content. It allows you to vote for a creation from the community, it offers in particular a ranked mode and an assistant to optimize the creation of a Superstar, in our image, or conversely very different thanks to various options.
