[마이데일리 = 임유리 기자] Writer Kim Eun-sook expressed pride in the couple, Joo Yeo-jeong and Moon Dong-eun, played by actors Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun in ‘The Glory’.
On the 6th, a video titled ‘Behind the scenes commentary by writer Kim Eun-sook, director Ahn Gil-ho, and actors’ was posted on Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel.
In the released video, director Ahn Gil-ho, writer Kim Eun-sook, and actors Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, and Yum Hye-ran gathered in one place to watch ‘The Glory’ and talk regarding the behind-the-scenes story.
In the video, actor Lee Do-hyun said, “At the beginning of filming, I asked the director, ‘Director, I’m filming ‘The Glory’ right now, right?” I talked regarding this,” he said, “because the day before, the day before filming, they beat, curse, burst blood, commit adultery, and they filmed things like that, and then the scene with me and my sister was soft.”
In response, Song Hye-kyo also chimed in, saying, “I think the genre is different by myself.”
Lee Do-hyun said, “I felt like I was the only one filming a melodrama, so I asked a lot if it would be right to go in this direction. He often said that he would like it, so I think we talked and filmed a lot during filming to catch that point.”
Then, writer Kim Eun-sook said, “If the director didn’t stop it, the ending of the fourth part would be a kissing scene.” “But thanks to that, I think the best couple I’ve ever written came out,” causing laughter.
