World of Warcraft Classic will return to the era of Wrath of the Lich King next September 26. So announced Blizzard recently. WotLK is considered one of the best expansions in the history of World of Warcraft, which nevertheless spans almost 20 years. Even though its sequels have expanded game mechanics in some very interesting and creative ways, few have been as successful as WotLK.

Get an experience boost now
Before the arrival of this expansion, Blizzard introduced a new leveling mechanic called Joyous Journeys. From now on, the players of Burning Crusade Classic can visit an innkeeper in one of their faction’s capital cities and activate a 50% experience boost. You can use this boost to finish leveling up an existing character or start working on a new one. The boost will be available until the launch of WotLK Classic. For those who want to create a Death Knight when the expansion is available, know that you will not need a level 55 character on a server as was the case with the original version.
Blizzard includes Wrath of the Lich King Classic in all World of Warcraft subscriptions. In other words, you won’t have to buy the expansion separately if you want to bring your old guild back to life, for example!
