WotLK’s return to WoW Classic steals the show
Whatever they say, World of Warcraft remains damn dashing following all these years that have seen it reign over all of the MMOs available on PC. To stay so young, Blizzard’s flagship title now has two advantages: WoW Classic and the future of its MMO with the extension Dragonflight. At the end of September, fans of World of Warcraft and the most nostalgic at the idea of surveying an extension they know inside out were in the starting blocks, like this player who reached level 80 in less time than it takes to tell! If some are therefore going to fight the Lich King in his lair of the Citadel of Icecrown, others can now take themselves for the latter thanks to this magnificent official replica of Frostmourne.
However, World of Warcraftit’s not just regarding making new out of old by recycling old extensions — we tell you by the way everything you need to know regarding the return of WotLK — is also, and quite simply, doing something new. After almost a summer without big news to put in our mouths — except hallway noises on the release date of the extension —, Blizzard has finally ended its silence around Dragonflight by revealing a video (available at the top of the article) where we quickly explore the lands of the extension, in addition to learning the release date!
Dragonflight will fly on its own this fall
Last month, we had the right to some leaks of information regarding the extension Dragonflight of World of Warcraft : we discovered there in particular a release date, but we know that, in this kind of case, caution is always in order and that it is better to wait for the end of the word from the developers or the publisher. Had the rumors been right? After a month of silence, Blizzard has finally decided to unveil the pot of roses and take us to fly over the lands of the Dragon Islands.
It is therefore on the back of dragons that we have the chance to be able discover the release date, set for November 29, as well as the environments of this new expansion composed of the Shores of Awakening, the Plains of Ohn’ahra, the Azure Span, and the Temples of Thaldraszus. But this is not the only glance of this new trailer since we were able to admire the very first class and race combination, the Dracthyr Evoker. We got it, there are great new features in this extension with updated professions, a new talent system, new dungeons and interface customization : information that is further detailed via the blog post released by Blizzard.
