It is no secret that Gerard Joling likes to party and is a very social animal. We saw on the socials last week that he was having a really bad time with Wouter de Winther and some other gentlemen. It all looked very nice and that raises the question of whether there is something more going on between the two gentlemen.

Boulevard belt

Wouter agreed last week in VI that they had a very nice evening. “It was very nice, yes,” he said with a very mischievous look. “That was quite a hangover the next day.”

The Telegraaf journalist said it with such a strange look in his eyes that it set alarm bells ringing everywhere. He gives in the Today Inside from last night an update to presenter Wilfred Genee: “I received a call from Boulevard the next day asking if we were dating. All thanks to your insinuation here at the table.”

Dating?

Wilfred wants to know. “And is it so? Are you guys dating?”

Wouter: “No, of course not. No!”

The age difference between Gerard and Wouter is considerable, but not too bad on the scale of Hélène Hendriks: Geer is 63, he is 45. Wilfred: “Well, Gerard doesn’t date, does he? He is more of a pony and must always graze. I think it grazes everywhere.”

Grazing pony

Has Wouter seen Gerard’s grazing pony up close? In other words: do the gentlemen do it together? Wouter: “Yes, I also received that, yes, indeed, but not with me.”

Wilfred: “Okay, that has been confirmed. How does it feel that they are after you and Gerard Joling? Suddenly other media are after you.”

Wouter: “Well, there are people who are also happy to spread the word.”

Gossip corner

Here Wouter is of course referring to Wilfred, the VI sensation. He responds: “Helping the world? You confirmed that it was a lot of fun!”

Wouter: “It always happens on that side of the table! Innuendo, and, ‘Oh, isn’t that so?’”

Johan Derksen: “That’s the gossip corner there!”
