Wounded by bullet for a flashing light

A Texas woman has been seriously injured in what appears to be a case of road rage.

The motorist was on her way to work on the night of Monday to Tuesday when she came across a vehicle whose headlights were too strong.

She therefore signaled the inconvenience to the driver by flashing the headlights. Seconds later, she was shot in the face.

According to police, the victim managed to drive to the nearest convenience store to seek help.

Taken to hospital to treat her injuries, the driver is now recovering at home.

“There is no reason for such a thing to happen. She was going to work. She just wanted to let the other guy know that her headlights were too bright,” her son, who preferred to remain anonymous, told CNN.

The suspect in this story has still not been arrested. The family of the injured motorist hopes that there will be no other victims.
