A year following their separation, the Daft Punk group posted its logo on Instagram and Facebook on Tuesday evening, prompting fans to wonder. Indeed, it was a year ago to the day that the duo announced, through a video entitled Epilogue, the end of their career. After making the whole world dance for almost 20 years, with titles such as One More Time, Get Lucky or Starboy, the two artists were ending their careers. But would this announcement have been premature?
The publication of their logo, which is none other than the artwork of their first album Homework released in 1997, is considered by some as a well-rehearsed announcement of their return to the limelight. In just a few hours, the post garnered tens of thousands of likes. In addition to this enigmatic logo, Daft Punk also created a Twitter and Twich account today. Once once more, the red logo on a black background appears with the description: “Daft Punk (1993 – 2021)”. The group has also gathered more than 10,000 followers on Twitter in less than an hour. The fans are therefore at bay and one thing is certain, something is going on with Daft Punk.
