Worrying disappearance: “It’s going crazy”, Amélie, a 14-year-old teenager, not found for a month

Since a runaway on December 19 in Gennes-Val de Loire, in Maine-et-Loire, it has been impossible to find Amélie, 14 years old. The concern of his loved ones continues to grow.

She disappeared on December 19. And has not given any news since December 22, during a phone call made to his grandmother.

Despite a call for witnesses relayed by the Maine-et-Loire gendarmerie, it is impossible to find Amélie, a 14-year-old teenager who ran away from her grandparents’ home located in Gennes-Val de Loire, where she had been living for a few months .

Behind her, the girl leaves only a goodbye note. “If you find it, it’s because I’m already far away, she writes to her grandmother as the relay The Parisian. I am leaving to look following the children of a family in another country. I am going to do distance learning and intend to succeed in my life. I will surely come back to see you following the holidays.”

“Anxiety attacks”

But since, radio silence. “It’s total anxiety, you wonder at every moment where she is, who she is with, if she is safe, testified her mother at the start of the year for West France. You can’t think of anything else. It’s driving madness.”

According to her father, interviewed by Le Parisien, Amélie left without an identity document. She only took with her “a few things, her toothbrush and a phone but without a SIM card”.

The latter describes her as a teenager “very mature, she looks older than her age, especially when she wears makeup. She is reserved from the start, but so is her character. She is a little suspicious, which is why we hallucinate that she might have left like that”.

Followed by a psychologist, the young girl was, according to her father, the victim of “anxiety attacks”. Anxiety which, for those close to her, grows a little more following each day that passes without news from Amélie.
