Dutch Crown Princess Catharina-Amalia (18) are under tight security. He was worried regarding being the target of criminal gangs.

“He might barely leave the house,” reports the Dutch news agency, ANP quotes Dutch Queen Maxima during a state visit to Sweden with her husband, King Willem-Alexander as quoted Archyde.comFriday (14/10/2022).

Amalia moves into an apartment following being accepted as a student at the University of Amsterdam. However, her parents feared for her daughter’s safety and forced her to move back to the royal palace of Huis ten Bosch in The Hague.

Last month, several Dutch media reported that Amalia was under tight security because of fears criminal gangs might be targeting her for kidnapping.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte might not elaborate on the threat. The Dutch police refused to discuss the security arrangements around the palace.

“This is bad news, first of all for him,” Rutte told reporters.

“Everyone involved is doing everything possible to make sure he is safe.”
