Worldwide Outrage: Israel’s Massacre in Jenin Refugee Camp Sparks Global Protests

West Bank: There is a worldwide protest once morest Israel’s massacre of the Jenin refugee camp in Palestine’s West Bank on Monday. Iran, Egypt, Jordan and the Arab League condemned the violence. The United Nations has expressed concern over the denial of even treatment to the injured.

Eight people were killed in an Israeli airstrike that surrounded the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank early Monday morning. A 21-year-old Palestinian youth was also killed in Ramallah. 50 Palestinians were injured in the attack. The condition of 10 of them is critical.

Escorted by more than 1,000 troops, drones, around 150 bulldozers, armored vehicles and land, the largest military operation since 2002 on the Jenin camp began early on Monday.

Army and military vehicles were stationed around the camp and the drones spewed fire on top of it in the name of targeting the armed group called Jenin Brigades. Children are also among those killed. Bulldozers wreaked havoc across the camp, razing houses and vehicles to ashes and destroying infrastructure, including roads. The Israeli brutality was by cutting off the electricity and stationing guerrillas on top of the building.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani responded that the attack on Jen was state terrorism and a crime. Kanani said in the press conference that by generalizing the Zionists, it has been proved once more that there is no end to their attacks and the defeat of the Zionists is certain.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned Israel’s attack on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. Egypt also asked international organizations to intervene once morest the killing of innocent civilians and the violation of international laws and regulations.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sinan Al-Majli strongly condemned the Israeli attack. He called on the international community to take immediate action to stop Israeli aggression and provide protection to Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Ghaith tweeted that the attack was a brutal military operation by Israel in Jenin. He pointed out that the bombing of cities and camps by airplanes and the demolition of houses and roads by bulldozers were reprisals once morest the community. He appealed to advocates of peace around the world to stop the criminal movement.

Lynn Hastings, the United Nations’ resident humanitarian coordinator for Palestine, called for access to treatment for the injured. They expressed concern that even health workers were being denied access.
