LONDON, Jan 25 (Archyde.com) – Global crude steel production rose 3.7% last year to 1.95 billion tonnes, data from the World Steel Association showed on Tuesday, despite a drop in top producer China. of the metal, because the energy crisis reduced operations.

Crude steel output from China, also the world’s top consumer of the metal, sank 6.8% to 86.2m tonnes in December.
