World Parkinson’s Day

On this World Day, the Administration of evaluation and control (AEC) of long-term care insurance thought it would be interesting to provide you with certain figures.

The following figures relate to summaries of support that were established during the year 2021 (between January 1 and December 31, 2021) by the AEC. They concern any beneficiary whose main cause of dependency is Parkinson’s disease. The average age of beneficiaries is 75 and almost half are between 81 and 90 years old. Two-thirds of the more than 60% who live at home benefit from the intervention of a support and care network.
