Gamers were unhappy with the new model of the Gnoll Crusher, which may appear in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Reddit users felt that the monster from Elwynn Forest, which was considered the “thunderstorm of newbies”, began to look too cute.
The old Crusher, according to gamers, looks much more intimidating due to the rough texture and grin. The old look suits him: for a long time, the mob was considered very difficult, since it was almost impossible to defeat him alone at the current level. Many expressed the hope that Blizzard would redraw the monster, and suggested that the gnoll model from Heroes of the Storm be used as a basis.
The new model is not yet in the current version of WoW – it was only found in the Dragonflight beta test files. The upcoming expansion was announced on April 19th. According to Blizzard, the release will take place before the end of 2022.
