War Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle, Scotland. Leaders from various countries also mourned.
Reported from The Telegraph, Friday (9/9/2022), condolences came from the President of the United States (US) Joe Biden. Through the White House, Joe Biden expressed his condolences.
“Our hearts and thoughts go out to the family members Warand to the British people,” the White House said in a statement.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron recalled the figure of Queen Elizabeth II. Macron said Queen Elizabeth II was a friend of France.
“Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II embodied the continuity and unity of the British nation for more than 70 years. I remember her as a friend of France, a benevolent queen who has left a lasting impression on her country and her century,” Macron said on Twitter.
Condolences also came from India, Canada, Ireland, to Ukraine.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his condolences for the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“Pakistan joins the UK and other Commonwealth countries in mourning his death. My heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, the people and the British government,” Sharif said.
Belgian PM Alexander De Croo also expressed his condolences. He prayed that Queen Elizabeth II rested in peace.
“May HRH Queen Elizabeth II Rest In Peace. For more than 70 years, she was a beacon of stability and dignity to the British people,” said De Croo.
Zimbabwe became the first African country to express its condolences. Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa also prayed for Queen Elizabeth II.
The Norwegian royal family, the Swedish PM to the Dutch PM also expressed their condolences. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who previously prayed for Queen Elizabeth II’s recovery, now expressed his condolences.
“It is with a heavy heart that we learn of the passing of Canada’s longest-serving Sovereign, Your Majesty War Elizabeth II. He has always been present in our lives – and his service to Canadians will forever be an important part of our country’s history,” Trudeau said.
A number of former world leaders also expressed their condolences. Former US President Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Barack Obama mourned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
