Charles III
British King Charles III also does not have a passport. Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth, was also able to travel around the world without a passport. Britain issues passports to its citizens in the name of the monarch. Therefore, the British government argues that it is not appropriate to grant a passport to the king himself.
