On the occasion of World Kidney Day this March 14, the Saint-Gabriel clinic opens its doors to the public for a major awareness and prevention sequence entitled “Vini pren swen di to ren”.
The kidney is an essential element in the functioning of the human machine that is too often ignored and therefore neglected. Every year, National Kidney Week is held, a national event that helps to better inform and raise awareness of chronic kidney disease. For 2024, the campaign led by France Ren is entitled “Towards equitable access to care and management of your kidney health”.
The Guyane Santé group is therefore organizing its information day this March 14. The objective is to become better known and raise awareness among the Guyanese population regarding this public health issue. This information sequence “Vini pren swen di to ren”. will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Saint-Gabriel clinic where its hemodialysis center is located.
