A total of 3,258 Jamboree participants from 4 countries stayed in Chungbuk.
They plan to stay in the province for five days until the 12th and participate in cultural tourism programs such as temple stay.
The province shares roles with 11 cities and counties, the fire department headquarters, and the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency to operate thorough safety management and experiential cultural tourism programs for Jamboree participants staying in the region.
On the 8th, 1,577 Japanese scouts embarked on a new journey of 5 days and 4 nights in Guinsa, Danyang-gun, North Chungcheong Province.
During their stay at Guinsa, the crew will divide into three groups and tour Danyang’s representative tourist attractions, including Dodamsambong Peak, Gosu Cave, Mancheonha Skywalk, and Danuri Aquarium, as well as nearby Jecheon’s Cheongpung Lake.

In addition, Chungbuk-do plans to promote Korea’s history and culture to young people around the world by providing opportunities to visit Cheongnamdae and Cheongju National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and to experience leisure at Belforet.
About 10 youth participants from international exchanges in the province also participate in this Jamboree tourism program to help the Jamboree participants have no inconvenience in communication.
A provincial official said, “We will do our best to support the Jamboree participants so that they can spend safely and comfortably in Chungbuk.”
