The matter was reported by the Chinese authorities to the National Health Commission on November 13. However, says the WHO, on November 21 some media outlets began publishing reports about pneumonia in children in northern China, for which there is no precise diagnosis.

What they are requesting are more epidemiological and clinical data, as well as “laboratory results from these groups of children.” For the moment, there is no need to be alarmed.
