In 2023, the World Health Organization turns 75 years old. Since its founding on April 7, 1948, the date has been used to celebrate World Health Day. This year with the theme Health for All, the entity seeks to recall the achievements and improvements in public health worldwide, which have brought more quality of life to the population over the last seven decades. Samsung takes advantage of this moment to reinforce its commitment to bringing technological solutions that increasingly contribute to advances in this very important segment.

“In addition to everyday precautions, early diagnosis is one of the main points that must be considered when talking about health care. That’s why we work to bring new technologies that are increasingly assertive, so that the diagnosis of various diseases is quick and professionals in the area are able to indicate the best treatment”, says Walter Brandstetter, clinical manager of Samsung’s HME division Brazil.

Among the highlights that use Samsung’s cutting-edge technology in healthcare is the RS85 Prestige ultrasound system. This device uses sophisticated artificial intelligence resources to merge images from different diagnostic modalities, uniting the results of an MRI with the real-time visualization of the ultrasound system, thus generating greater accuracy in the biopsies. This platform also features Shadow HDR technology, which optimizes images to minimize acoustic shadows and allow better visualization of body organs. In addition, clinicians gain even greater accuracy with the MV Flow feature, which provides advanced resolution and increased sensitivity in small vessel vascular examinations.
