On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Minister Delegate in charge of Territorial Organization and Health Professions, Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, reaffirms her commitment to health and safety health professionals who are at the heart of its roadmap.

Health of healthcare professionals: the unprecedented deployment of a national strategy

The workload and the imbalance between professional and private life of health professionals have negative effects on their mental health. Their working conditions also have a strong impact on their physical health, with the result that a quarter of them feel “in poor health”.

In order to improve the preventive behavior and the health of health professionals, the Minister Delegate Agnès Firmin Le Bodo launched on March 30 the mission “Health of Caregivers – Let’s Innovate and Act Together” around health and healthcare actors. all social and medico-social sectors.

The national consultation, open to all health professionals and launched on this occasion, has to date nearly 50,000 participations. This questionnaire was an opportunity to allow health professionals to question their health and their prevention approach.

In this perspective, the Minister will go to SantExpo on May 23 where she will present the results of this national consultation, the main directions she retains and the major axes of a national strategy for better health of health professionals.
