World Cup Slalom in Ötztaler Gurgl: Race Updates and Start List

After both the giant slalom in Sölden and the two downhill runs in Zermatt were canceled, the men face their first race of the new World Cup season on Saturday.

A slalom is on the program in Ötztaler Gurgl. The first round starts at 10:45 a.m. The second round follows at 1:30 p.m. – in the LIVE ticker >>>

The race will be opened on Saturday by a German. Linus Straßer opens the top group. Behind him follows the Swiss Ramon Zenhäuser, before Manuel Feller, number three, becomes the first Austrian to maneuver himself out of the starting gate.

The top group is concluded by Clement Noel (FRA) with number four, Henrik Kristoffersen with number five, Daniel Yule (SUI) with number six and Loic Meillard (SUI).

Two more Austrians in the second starting group

Immediately followingwards, Fabio Gstrein (8), the second Austrian, follows. A little later it is Marco Schwarz’s (12) turn.

With Adrian Pertl (19), Michael Matt (27) and Johannes Strolz (30), three other ÖSV aces can be found among the first 30 runners.

The other Austrians at the start are Dominik Raschner (50) and Simon Rueland (52).
