Jeddah: The Jeddah Municipality has prepared huge screens for live broadcasting of the World Cup football matches for sports fans in Saudi Arabia. In collaboration with the ‘Khudam’ campaign to support the Saudi national team, the municipality announced and implemented programs such as installing screens on buildings in the city, decorating them with electric lights, and spreading encouraging messages.

Majid bin Umar Alsalami, director general of the municipality community service, said that a package has been prepared for activities to support the national team. One is the installation of large screens for the residents of Jeddah to watch the matches live. The big screens will be installed at the Municipality Main Building, King Abdul Aziz Cultural Center in Abraq Al Ragama, Ameer Majeed Park, Tahlia Park, Middle Cornish Park, Tahlia, Alfaiha, Tayba, Al Rihab and Alyamama walkways.

Campaign messages in support of the Saudi national team will be disseminated through screens on the roads. The main building and Jeddah gates will be decorated with lights. The Director General of Community Services also said that various programs and special places for the display of football skills have been arranged for those who come to the places to watch the match.
