Argentina vs. Croatia – clearly who my heart beat for today’s soccer bang. For Croatia of course!
The Argentines? Have lost all my sympathies. And years ago. Why? Because the Fair Play obviously only know regarding their Playstation.
If the Argentines are in the lead on the pitch, it’s always the same followingwards: they’re playing for time. They discuss, provoke. And drop theatrically at the slightest touch of the opponent. Gladly with a double role.
On the other hand, they acknowledge their own fouls with gestures of innocence: What? I should have fouled? It can’t be…
That’s even worse than rotten Angus beef!
The quarter-final once morest the Netherlands was a lesson in Argentina’s macho diva football. So much aggressiveness, so much theatrics – it’s almost unbearable.
And in the end, scorn and ridicule for the loser. Absolutely not world champion!
The Argentines know exactly what it feels like to lose a penalty shoot-out in the quarter-finals. Namely really bad.
So bad that the players didn’t even know what to do with their anger following losing to Germany in 2006. They let it out to their German colleagues in a round of bullies on the square, among other things.
With bitter consequences for our team: Torsten Frings was subsequently suspended for the semi-final once morest Italy. The rest is known.
For me it’s still clear: With Frings we would have beaten Italy too. And then France in the final…
Argentina icon Diego Maradona († 60) came up with at least one cunning excuse for his brazen handball in 1986. The hand of God”…
From Lionel Messi, on the other hand, there is only the flattest insult to the opponent: “What are you looking at, stupid?…”
The World Champion Cup is a very special award. He’s destined for a very special team.
This is the Albiceleste only in a negative sense.
That’s why I’m certain: Argentina mustn’t be world champions this year!
