The safety ofFrance team during the world Cup in Qatar is now provided by Groupe Security System Certis International (GSSCI) following the dismissal of United Security Services in September. The latter was accused of exploiting employees in a report by the Complément d’Enquête program on France 2. The company is indeed singled out for repeated scandals in the treatment of its agents, mostly from Kenya and Uganda. The information site Marianne evokes mediocre and too small accommodation, racist treatment, wage exploitation with many unpaid overtime hours or even confinement in extreme conditions of promiscuity during the peak of the Covid-19 crisis.

In particular, he denounced the bad behavior of the company. An approach which earned him a summons by his superior to be brought and questioned by Qatari intelligence agents, he explained. “One day, our managers challenged us by throwing us: ‘Hey, the gorillas’. But there is no way to defend ourselves once morest ordinary racism”said a young man of 30 years.
