The 25th edition of the International Scuba Diving Show takes place from January 11 to 14, 2024 in hall 4 of Paris expo, Porte de Versailles. The opportunity for the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM) to meet all enthusiasts on its stand, and to organize a meeting with champions of the discipline.
Every year in Paris, the underwater world is revealed at the International Underwater Diving Show. An event marked by many highlights including the presence of the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM) which on its stand (D28 – F29) invites all its members, new and experienced divers, as well as that all ocean lovers.
Many events and conferences will still be on the program during this 25th editing. It is true that the FFESSM covers a whole range of underwater activities including four recognized high-level disciplines: swimming with fins, freediving in the pool, vertical freediving in open water and underwater hockey.
Treasure hunt, Saturday January 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Diving Show becomes an all-round playground for young people aged 8 to 25 with a treasure hunt organized by the FFESSM. The goal of the treasure hunt? Answer ten questions by finding your way using clues, present on a treasure map, leading to partner stands.
Seven lucky winners will be chosen by draw, organized at 5:00 p.m., and will win ten magnificent gifts (purchase vouchers at the FFESSM store, at Aquasport Diving in Lanzarote or at Vieux Campeur, a UCPA trip to France, an Epidive diving trip in Greece, a Scubapro diving suit, Seiko backpacks…). All participants will leave with consolation prizes.
Meeting with the champions, Saturday January 13 between 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
The champions of the different underwater sports disciplines will be present on the FFESSM stand to meet the public, exchange ideas and receive the rewards offered by the Federation in their honor.
2023 is a historic year for the FFESSM given the number of medals obtained at the world level (23 gold medals, 25 silver medals, 12 bronze medals).
In the presence of Frédéric Di Méglio, president of the FFESSM, and the presidents of the commissions of each discipline, the athletes will be awarded a medal in the freediving, fin swimming, photo & video, sports diving in the pool and underwater hockey categories. The opportunity for young and old to approach these brilliant athletes.
