In what constitutes the largest historical investment in the facilities of its sports center, workshops accelerates and is close to completing the modernization and refunctionalization works of its gym, located on Richeri avenue, which as of next month will be renamed “Polideportivo Juan Pelatto” .
The reopening of the federated sports site of the club will be once the ninth Social Assembly 2023 is held, on March 4, on a date that is yet to be set and that the president albiazul, andresfassiwill announce at that corporate meeting.
The Infrastructure Improvement Plan began in 2015 and this week the new parquet floor is being finished. There are 195 square meters in the entire space, plus the installation of another 1130 m2 on top of the existing floor.
The numerous works include interventions in all areas of the gym:
- Facade remodeling.
- Renovation of ceilings and walls.
- Incorporation of new luminaires.
- Adequacy of emergency exits.
- Renovation of public toilets with accessibility for people with disabilities.
- Modernization of changing rooms for teams and referees.
- New staff room with new furniture.
- Roof deck recovery.
- Thermal insulation and installation of 10 wind extractors.
- New sports equipment, basketball hoops, volleyball net, timers, scoreboards and substitute benches.
- Wall covering with high resistance cementitious plates and protection with mats.
- New metallic structure bleachers.
- New lighting system, placement of 35 long-lasting LED bells for correct sports use.
- New gym for a refreshed workout space.
- New main entrance on Av. Richieri and connection to the court sector of the current Pelatto Gymnasium.
