That’s why British athlete and fitness expert Mica Moore decided to share some workout tips for burning holiday calories in an interview with Daily Mail.

“Even though it’s clear that calorie intake is very high at Christmas, with around 3,959 in total, it’s one day in the year when we can forget about our diet and fitness goals,” says Mrs. Moore.

While some people make a resolution to get back in shape starting in January to compensate for their holiday excesses, the athlete instead suggests burning off those Christmas calories as soon as possible.

So she decided to lay out some exercises you should do for each part of the Christmas meal you’re going to eat. It is important to understand that these are suggestions and that the entire duration of each exercise does not have to be done all at once. It is possible to spread the training minutes over several sessions or several days.
